Wedding Favor Boxes

Many people like to provide their wedding guests with a small favor or gift that they can keep as a memento or souvenir of the special day. Placing your wedding favors in individual wedding favor boxes will not only make your guests feel special and appreciated; they can also highlight or compliment the decorative theme of your wedding.

You can place anything you like in the wedding favor boxes from simple cheap gifts such as candy to more expensive or personalised gifts such as perfume or charms. Placing your wedding favors into a box can convey an extra sense of appreciation and love as your guests will know that you have put in extra effort into the presentation of their favors.

Paper boxes are a favorite for wedding favors as they are available in a wide range of designs, colours and sizes. Paper is often chosen as they are inexpensive but still classy; you will most likely wish to buy wedding favor boxes that are not too expensive as you will need quite a few.

There are a wide variety of boxes that you will be able to choose from for your wedding favors, you will be able to find boxes made of all sorts of different materials from paper and straw through to dainty stained glass. Many brides choose lovely ornamental boxes in which they place pieces of jewellery for the wedding party, and choose paper boxes in a complimentary design for the wedding guests. You will be able to find a box in every colour of the rainbow - finding one to match the colours of your wedding theme will not be a problem. The choice of wedding favor boxes is limited only by your budget - you will be able to source boxes that are as plain or as ornate as you wish.

The choice of what to place in the boxes is only limited by your imagination and budget. You can fill your wedding favor boxes with potpourri for an inexpensive but thoughtful gift that is suitable for both men and women. You may choose to fill the boxes for your male and female guests with different gifts, candy for the women and mints for the men for example. You may even wish to slip a handwritten thank you note into the boxes to really make your guests feel special.

Many bridal parties find their own unique way to give the wedding favors, but traditionally they are placed on the tables where your guests will eat their meal. If the wedding favor boxes are placed on the table they can become an intricate part of the wedding decoration so choosing a decorative box, or even decorating the boxes yourself can really make your tables look fantastic.
