Modern Wedding Favors To Grace Your Occasion

Whatever wedding favor you decide to give your guests you will need something to put it in. Depending on what you have chosen to give your guests, you can place the favors in small gift boxes, fabric bags or dainty little baskets or you could wrap them up in tulle or satin tied with a beautiful gold bow.

 

If you are giving your guests colorful soaps or almond candies you may want to put these in glass bottles for a beautifully multi-colored effect. No matter how fancy your gift is, if you place in a plain box and give it to your guests the effect will be completely lost. Go all out and look for the most creative container you can find to put your wedding favors in or better still, make your own. Just go to a couple of craft stores and look around and you will see that there are endless possibilities; all you need is time, patience and creativity.

If you do not have time to look around in craft stores you could still browse around the internet and look up the various possibilities. These days, you can get almost anything over the internet. Take a look at several different sites so you can get some ideas of what to give as favors and also how to wrap them up. You may get really lucky and come across a site that is selling favors or wraps at a discount if you buy it in bulk. Why not? There's no hard and fast rule about whether you should buy or make wedding favors. Different things work for different bridal couples.

Chinese take-out boxes look fabulous and make great wedding-favor boxes, more so if the wedding favor is a fortune cookie. What's more, you can get Chinese boxes in a wide range of designs and colors so it is easy to choose a color that matches your wedding colors. You can get Chinese boxes in pure white or ivory or gold and you can even get them in a combination of two or three colors that match the rest of your décor.

Small paper bags are one of the most versatile ideas. Instead of spending loads of time making small bags, you can buy them in bulk and then spend some time decorating them any way you want. Just buy ribbons, stickers, paints, bows and beads and you'll soon have those little bags looking as beautiful as any store bought bag- even better perhaps.

If you are giving fresh flowers, boxes and bags would be pretty inappropriate. What you would need are tiny vases with a little water so the flowers will stay fresh longer. You could even use tiny vases with flowers as centerpieces, which your guests could take away when it is time for them to leave.
